Lip balm blister packaging is produced by thermoforming manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to its forming temperature, then it’s draped over the mold to take its shape and form the ‘blister’ (a bubble or pocket) that contains and covers the lip balm. After that, the cardboard backing is printed and affixed to the card using a special adhesive (heat seal coating) on the blister packaging by applying pressure that seals the blister to the card.
